SeaStar Solutions® Steering Cables

Suitable for Quick Connect 3.0 Turn, Quick Connect 4.0 Turn, NFB Safe-T® II & NFB 4.2 Rotary

SSC62 type push in quick connect cable - no tools required to connect cable to helm. Length is measured from helm insert to nut plus 450mm. Y + 450mm = cable length.

SeaStar Solutions® Helm - Quick Connect 3.0 Turn

Durable die cast alloy housings with rotary mechanism. The 280134 dual cable helm is recommended for high load applications. Accepts SSC62 cables.

SeaStar Solutions® 90° Black Bezel Kit - Rotary

Bezel kits include mount brackets and fastenings to suit Seastar Solutions rotary hems.

SeaStar Solutions® Helm - NFB Safe-T® II

Dual Function Control:

No feedback technology prevents torque from the engine feeding back through the cable and into the helm.

The NFB fits directly into existing Seastar Solutions rotary dash cut outs.

Durable die cast housing, with planetary gearing. Accepts SSC62 Quick Connect cable.

Ultraflex T71FC Planetary Geared Fast Connect Helm
  • Fast connect and simple installation.
  • Corrosion resistant materials.
  • Particularly suitable where clearance is limited.
  • Optional 90° or 20° mounting bezel.
  • Standard 3/4” tapered shaft.
  • Steering wheel turns approximately 3.8 times lock to lock.
  • Maximum allowable steering wheel diameter 406mm (16”).
  • Minimal feedback.
  • Compact for mounting.
  • The T71FC helm is recommended for use with engines around 150hp and a maximum of 225hp.
  • For boats exceeding 50mph the twin cable steering system T72FC is recommended.
  • Uses M66 Ultraflex® cable or a Seastar SSC62 style cable (the T72FC helm require two cables).
  • Exceeds both EN 28848 and ABYC P17 safety standards.
