SeaStar Solutions has updated our very popular SeaStar and BayStar hydraulic steering helm pumps. The new helms will be a direct replacement for the existing products with additional product features.

The addition of adjustable stainless steel o-ring seal fittings will simplify the installation process and will allow for simple reorientation of the fittings after installation.

For use in conjunction with outboards, stern drives and inboards with 1.7, 2.0 and 2.4 helms. 70 bar (1000 psi) maximum working pressure. High abrasion resistance with unbelievable flexibility and strength. Reinforced PVC construction. Large internal diameter makes the steering lighter and more responsive. The 3⁄8" tube thread swage fittings on each end eliminate the chance of connector failure. The cylinder end swage fittings have rubber boots fitted to prevent kinking and protect the connectors from the environment. Available from 600mm (2ft) to 12m (40ft) in 305mm (1ft) increments. Sold individually.

A premium grade hose recommended for use with SeaStar® Pro helms but can be used in other installations, particularly when larger volume pumps are being used. Pro hose has a 103 bar (1500 psi) maximum working pressure with Kevlar® reinforcement that reduces volumetric expansion to less than half that of regular hoses. This achieves improved response and reduces engine flutter on high speed applications of 60 knots plus. Reduces prevailing supercharging pressure in SeaStar® Pro systems. Fitted with 3⁄8" tube thread swage fittings on both ends. The swage fittings have rubber boots fitted at cylinder end to prevent kinking and protect the connectors from the environment. Available from 600mm (2ft) to 12m (40ft) in 305mm (1ft) increments. Sold individually.
